APR 12, 2019- Hand Tied Bouquets


Join me on Friday, April 12th at 7:00pm in our brand new studio! Yes, that’s right! Our newly renovated studio will be ready to show off for you.

Are you eager to learn the art of making my signature hand tied bouquets? Have you always wanted to achieve that fresh, hand-gathered style but have struggled with the mechanics? Do you grow flowers and need to learn the art of hand-tied bouquets to sell at market or to deliver to friends and neighbors? Then this is the class for you!

We will be spending the evening talk through sourcing flowers for bouquets, choosing color palettes and constructing beautiful masterpieces. All the while, enjoying complimentary drinks and snacks. Space is limited and registration closes on April 10th so reserve your spot soon!

Cost: $89/person

Class includes:  All high quality florals and greenery for your design and to take home. All materials and tools to construct the bouquets as well as beautiful coordinating ribbons.What to bring: Clippers will be provided for use during the class or you can bring your own!

APR 26, 2019 Living Floral Jewelry

We will be learning the art of living floral jewelry. Whether your are a beginner who likes to craft or master floral designer, this class is a great way to learn a new and fun skill!

Together we will learn how to design floral bracelets, floral earrings and even floral rings. Imagine sporting a one-of-a-kind piece of living art! This same technique can be used to make corsages or floral details for wedding work as well.

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, this class would be the perfect gift to celebrate mom. You can even get a discount when you sign up together! Come enjoy some complimentary wine and snacks as we relax and craft the night away.

What to Expect

No matter what your skill level, this class is for you!  I will walk you step by step through the design process from choosing your blooms, harvesting them, treating them and creating a beautiful table scape design.  We will spend time walking through the beautiful flower fields at Pleasant Union Farm. I will then provide a live flower demonstration of how I construct my centerpieces with details about  mechanics, tools and bloom selections. There will be time for Q & A as well as some light refreshments. We will then delve into creating your very own masterpieces.  I will provide coaching and assistance as you work with the beautiful, locally grown flowers. We will wrap up the class by setting your designs on a table scape styled by you!

Class goodies

Each participant will receive the following as part of their class registration:

  • locally grown flowers to design with
  • a beautiful vessel that is yours to keep!
  • all design tools that are yours to keep!
  • light refreshments
  • photos of your work from the attending photographers
  • the opportunity to design a tablescape using my collection of beautiful inventory along with vintage china and accessories from The Prissy Plate Company.
